"While on the subject of el frio frostbite weather, hell, I am here to reveal to my fellow diehards the ultimate in mother nature defiance. A Miss Carol Davis, in response to her dedicated waterfowler boyfriend's comments about winter duck hunting conditions, has brought out the best insulated longjohns I have ever found. New fabric and garment technology in her BODY SOCKS really does the trick when the temperature plummets. I do not like deep, dangerous cold, but these products have proven themselves to perform under the most outrageous conditions that have traditionally kept me from goin' hunting. I hate not goin' hunting, so thank God for these unbelievable products."

"Dear Carol, I am a Major League umpire and my favorite thing to do with my off time in the winter is to hunt. Until now I have never found a product that kept me warm. I received my body-sock, gloves, neck-warmer, and socks in October just before I was to work the World Series between Detroit and St. Louis. Thank you for such a great product! The weather in both cities was wet and COLD. I couldn't believe it but, walking off the field after each game I wasn't affected at all by the weather. The other umpires couldn't wait to order their own.
For the first time in my life I was able to sit in a tree stand for hours here in Ohio. The Web Foot Body Sock really works. Now I have one in my equipment trunk for umpiring and one for hunting.
Thanks for a great product!"

Hi Carol,
Web Foot Rocks!
I have been meaning to send you a quick note on how your body suit worked for me in Alaska. In short, your product is amazing. I spent 20 days hunting moose and brown bear. I was fortunate to score on both of these majestic animals but not without significant effort. It rained in waves with high winds nearly every day. I was soaking wet from sweat and/or rain constantly. My web foot body suit kept me plenty warm. In addition, it dried super fast via a tent lantern and body heat from my sleeping bag. I went 15 days straight without a shower and miraculously, my web foot managed the body odor just like you told me it would.
Thank you for making a product that actually works in some of the harshest conditions imaginable. Let me know when you come up with something else in your line of products.

"Carol, I have worked the sidelines as an athletic trainer in the National Football League for nearly thirty years. Prior to that I worked at Michigan State in East Lansing Michigan for five years, another very cold place. A few weeks ago I ordered the Web Foots® Body Sock to wear in games we were going to play in Chicago, Philadelphia and Buffalo. We have not been to Buffalo yet, but your suit has already changed my life. They are lightweight, comfortable and very warm. I had no problem running 40 yards onto the field to assist an injured player. I was never so warm and comfortable as I was in Chicago on December 2, 2007. It was the coldest day of the new winter season. I bought them for my entire staff and will never travel to another cold city in the NFL without them. I have been telling all of my friends about them. I certainly hope you get so many orders from my friends, that you will have to add sewing staff.
I also bought the socks and mittens and they are equally warm. I cannot thank you enough for personally going to the Post Office to express mail the suits so that we could have them in time to travel to Chicago. What tremendous customer service for an excellent product. Carol Davis is the best! You might get a kick out of the fact that last week we said to each other, “Don’t forget to pack your Carol Davis!”

"Carol, Thank God for individuals with a vision. If not for entrepreneurs such as yourself, us outdoorsy types would not be near as comfortable doing our thing.
I met Carol Davis at the National Sheep Show (FNAWS) in Reno a few years ago. Her booth was across from mine & for 4 days I watched her pitch her products to the thousands of attendees that walked by. (This gal has some serious energy), I was wiped out just watching her.
Needless to say I bought a couple of her (Body Sock) suits, and my son Jake & I had the opportunity to try them out the next day skiing in Tahoe. I simply put on the suit, under my jeans and shirt and I was comfortable all day long. The true test came later that fall/winter. As a Professional Hunting Consultant for premier Outfitters from all over the world I have the opportunity to experience some of the most adverse conditions Mother nature can dish out.
I believe I have at least one of every product Carol Manufactures, & when the mercury drops her products are always in my duffle bag. From sitting all day in -30 temps Whitetail Deer hunting in Canada, to Marco Polo hunting at 15,000 ft, Ice fishing on the frozen lakes of the North & recently the ultimate test; Polar Bear Hunting.
For 2 full weeks the Body Sock & socks never came off once. Even when one climbs in the sleeping bag, nature calls in the middle of the night or a visit from a traveling Polar Bear are 2 really good reason to never remove your one piece suit. Not only did they provide extreme comfort, as well as keep me warm & dry, body odor was never an issue. I strongly advise the model with the zippered back flap, certain functions would be impossible without it.
When I purchase products for the outdoors (keep in mind this is my living), ! focus on quality & durability. I am still using the original Body Sock suit that I bought years ago, The properties of the fabric along with the craftsmanship of the sewing make this product a no brainier for anyone that will spend any time in the outdoors.
Thanks Carol,

Dear Carol:
It's been a while since I contacted you (October '11) after purchasing two pairs of your Body Socks (#3). Since then my adventure business has taken me on numerous extended expeditions, from the Antarctic via the High Andes, to expeditions that have included submarine, aviation, Arctic, and a few other hostile environments.
During these long months of expeditions I've been wearing your thermal products daily and they have proved themselves as wonderful! The quality is fantastic and they've kept me warm, comfortable and secure, in even the most hostile of environments. I've even tested them by running a daily 400 meters in the Antarctic in just your Body Sock and a pair of training shoes. I was very warm even the dead cold and in the high winds (with a windproof shell). I'm so delighted with your (Carol Davis) Thermals that I'll let everyone I know, who needs serious protection from the cold, about them. Carol, I truly advocate your Body Sock with 100% confidence in their performance, comfort, and quality. Thank you for such a functional, high performance, and now indispensible tool, that enhances my work.
Now I'm going to relax in the Asian Autumn, Winter, and early Spring, walk about the place in your Body Socks, a light weight pair of trousers (probably Chinos) and cotton shirt, shoes, no coat, gloves, or hat, and watch peoples faces! Then when they ask I'll just point to your Body Socks and tell them. I'm looking forward to the fun of it.
With sincerest and best wishes,

"I just got back from the tundra. Your garments were fantastic. You need to know that I can LOOK at a mountain and begin to perspire. On this trip, I hiked through very rough terrain and, as usual, sweat up a storm. However, your undergarments magically wicked away the moisture, and I found myself far more comfortable than ever before, and I've tried many undergarments in the past, including polypropylenes, chloropropylenes, and others." "I'm headed to Colorado tomorrow for elk, and then I'll be hunting nonstop until the holidays in a dozen states and Canada. I'll give you evaluations as I complete other hunts if you'd like. Later on, I'll be in sub-zero situations. On the Canada hunt this week, the temperatures were basically in the mid-30's but it was extremely wet and windy."

"Carol,
Enjoying one of my favourite pastimes has never been so comfortable. Wearing your Body Socks under my leggings…no pants, no shirt... was perfect on this fall day in the Cariboo. Even though it was a warm day, around 15C, I was not too warm. This is not just an extreme weather suit! As winter arrives and our temperature drops to our average January temperature of -10C, I know I will still be warm and comfy. So all you cowboys…listen up. It is time to give your Stanfield's a rest and really enjoy your ride."

"With Christmas shopping taking center stage, finding the perfect gift for that special hunter is something that wives, girlfriends, (yes, husbands and boy friends too) wrestle with every year. Sometimes one gets the feeling that hunters have every gadget and all the clothing they'll ever need. However, as a long-time hunter, I can tell you that when it gets cold, hunters never have enough of the right stuff to keep them warm. So, let's look at some great gift items that will keep hunters warm in the woods.
This fall I hunted deer in Alberta and it was cold and snowy. I wore something I've never used before, and I am now a believer. Neck warmers (sometimes called "dickies") are great when it's cold. They have a turtle neck and a front and back flap, that keeps out the snow and cold. These light-weight warmers just slip over the head and are simple to wear. The one I used was made by Carol Davis Sportswear® ( www.cdsportswear.com, $14.95) and is made of double-sided fleece. A great gift for any hunter.
While you are on the Carol Davis web site, check out her body socks (her name for her line of long underwear). They make the finest long johns I've ever used, and I wear mine all the time. The body sock is a one piece single sided fleece item with a full, two-way front zipper, and a rear flap zipper (handy for ... well, it's just handy). They come in black and sell for $99 to $115 depending on which of the four styles of suit you want. I've had mine for 8 years and it still does the job. A great item."

"Carol, I first heard of your product 3 or 4 years ago. I was visiting with a friend in Wisconsin who suffered from a severe case of Reynaud's disease. This disease affects the flow of blood to ones extremities particularly the hands, feet, nose and ears. This causes severe numbness and pain with discoloration of the fingers from white to red to purple! It is more prevalent in women. I have a milder case of this problem. Ambient heat and warmth are the treatment. An acute attack from exposure to cold can last an hour or longer with a complete loss of feeling in the fingers even after exposure to external ambient heat. My friend has your body suit, socks, neck warmer and mittens and she gave me a copy of your brochure. I also have a hypothyroid condition which makes me chill easily. I have always enjoyed outdoor winter activity, hunting, ice fishing and cross country skiing. If I can keep warm I am out no matter the temperature. I use your body suit deer hunting in northern Wisconsin and when I walk outside during the colder months (Dec. to Feb). If my neck is chilled I feel cold all over so the neck warmer with its extended flaps prevents this. I walk 4 to 5 miles almost every day, 365 days a year if possible. Your product works!"

"Carol, I am about to go online and purchase my husband's thermal suit that you have been so nice to hold for me until I could pay for it... yay!! I want you to know that you are one of those people in life that I've crossed paths with that I really hope the best for because I feel you deserve it. You have been more than accommodating to me and I so greatly appreciate it. Like I told you before, my husband is an ironworker so I am busting at the seams waiting for Christmas so he can get his thermal underwear. And as soon and he realizes how wonderful they are (which I am totally confident they will be) I will give him your information and tell him to pass it along to the whole crew. I'll send as much business your way as I can because I am impressed with, and thankful for, your product (and you.) Thank you very much for your kindness and I hope you have a very happy holiday season!!"

Carol Davis: Why I personally love your stuff: Your Undies (I call them my "Carols") are a great way to extended the season of your current undergarment. Without spending $300 or $400 (or more) on a new UG (undergarment.) "Carols" are the best and most economical upgrade I've made to my diving. My 3-season UG just became a 4 season UG, etc. Another thing I love about your stuff is I can wear it as a warm water UG by its self. In September, over Labor Day, the local waters were unseasonably warm - in the mid 60's even at depth. Before I found my "Carols", I'd be baking in my 300gr polartech. I just dived the "Carols" and I was perfectly comfortable for 16 dives over 3 days!
Your biggest fan.

"Wow! Less than 48 hours after placing my order your products just arrived, all the way from Omaha! Everything looks wonderful -- nicely fitted (following your fitting instructions), clean straight seams, a weather flap liner behind the zippers, heavier cuffs, and toe seams in the front of the socks that won't chafe the tops of my toes (all not mentioned on your site). I'm just very happy with the service and products.
I'd tried ordering from various big sporting goods manufacturers websites but everything I wanted was out of stock, not available in the color or size I wanted and they had no way of letting me know if I could back-order the items. Then I found you all and was very impressed with the concept of a one piece Polartec under layer instead of the clunky underwear in other companies catalogs. Reading the press releases and happy customer letters made a good impression and helped sell your product. I'm glad I found you.
I like how you aren't trying to be all things to all people with the same skiing clothes, rag socks and pages of stuff from other manufacturers. I figure you make only a few items very well and you're wise for sticking with what you do best. There's no way you can compete with Cabela's, L.L. Bean's, Eddie Bauer, so you did the smart thing and carved out a niche market. More power to you!
And now for the confession -- I'm not hunting caribou, wading in mountain streams or doing any of the other exciting things your customers do. Natural gas prices are going up this winter and I intend to keep my thermostat at 55 degrees and need the warmth. It's not a dramatic story, but it's my motivation. If it works as well as advertised, I intend to tell friends and relatives.
Thanks for the quality products and exceptional service. It's very impressive to find a business that believes in the Golden Rule."

"Carol, My 2006 hunting season began with a very challenging September bowhunt for trophy bull elk in Idaho where temps ranged from the high 20s to the mid 60s. In all conditions my body sock kept me extremely comfortable, dry and virtually scent free. My next hunt during Colorado's second rifle season found us hunting southern Colorado elk with daytime temps nearing summer-time conditions. On this hunt my wife Rae Ann accompanied me. As you know, a woman's comfort level as far as temperatures go is measured on a whole different scale than us guys. Rae Ann virtually lived in her Body Suit throughout the hunt (day and night) and was always comfortable. Her words, " I loved it!" From both of us...THANKS. My final hunt was a week long pursuit of Southern Ohio Whitetail. The last time that I sat in a treestand for days at a time was when I was 28 years old. Now 52, I had forgotten how long these days can be and how cold one can get sitting for hour upon hour. Not so on this hunt, thanks to my Carol Davis Web Foots® Body Sock!
Carol, we have over 8 Million hunters visit us at www.Elkcamp.com annually. Many want to hear my opinion about what gear works best for elk hunting. Believe me, your Body Sock has moved very near to the top of our most recommended list. Thanks for introducing me to this Hot New Gear for hunters! "Dear Carol, I am a trap and skeet shooter who shoots all winter, and in western New York it can be a real test. I just received your bodysock yesterday and wore it last night at a skeet shoot. I am impressed. I was able to shoot in 30 degree weather with just a shirt and shooting vest on. What a pleasure to be able to shoot without a bulky coat. "I dive up here in the cold, green waters of the Puget Sound. I'm a Divemaster, underwater videographer, and also a Fire Paramedic for the city fire department. Our water ranges from 40 to 54 degrees. Our dives will often run close to an hour so exposure protection is critical. We usually do at least two dives during an outing. I have been wearing a layer of poly on my bare skin, followed by a bib-style, thin, cross-country ski polar fleece, and a thin fleece pullover. Over that is the 300 gm polar fleece main undergarment and my DUI CF 200X dry suit. I went to Florida to cave dive last April and used one of your style 2 suits as the sole undergarment under my drysuit as the caves are around 70-72 degrees, and it was warm enough by itself, without further thermal protection. What was very amazing, was the wicking. We were really sweated up dressing in full tech (twin cylinders and all) dive gear in the Florida heat and hiking in full gear through the woods to the sink holes where we enter the cave systems, yet we were skin dry in the Style 2. I got to thinking I may be more comfortable in your thermal suits up here in Seattle and I have been very dry and warm in it. I have tried a bunch of different thermal underwear in the quest for total comfort. I have yet to find a better undergarment than yours. The wicking is why it works so well. Getting that moisture off the skin keeps the chill away. Otherwise, the cold telegraphs through the drysuit into the damp undergarment right to the skin, causing moderate to extreme immersion discomfort. We often dive deep for long periods in sub 50 degree waters and have to decompress, idle on an anchor line, at rest for sometimes over an hour. I like the material and the workmanship is very good. I also like replacing all my layers with your one piece garment. And now polypropylene odor is a thing of the past. You have a nice and very fairly priced product."

I sled out west in the mountains and the body sock and a gortex shell are the perfect setup. "In early April, I spent a highly successful day trout fishing on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. There was a foot of newly fallen snow. As the sun rose the thermometer read eight degrees Fahrenheit. The day was cold and windy and I was wading in a lake that was mostly covered with ice. Underneath my chest waders I was wearing Style 2 Web Foots® BODY SOCK. I was oblivious to the foul weather around me. I also tried out Web Foots® BODY SOCK in rainy, windy Southeast Alaska while filming bear hunting for James Boyce this spring. It was most comfortable and kept me warm even though there was a cold wind much of the time. Do keep in mind that Web Foots® BODY SOCKS are not waterproof. Of particular note is that zippers are placed everywhere where there should be one – a much appreciated feature. Even when climbing in the most difficult steep and nasty terrain there was total body protection.
On one unusually nasty day I was dressed with jogging pants, overalls, long sleeve shirt, a wool shirt and a light coat, plus a full length heavy duty raincoat. Sitting on the stern of a large boat I was cold waiting for a bruin to show. I decided to put on my Web Foots® BODY SOCK and I remained very comfortable for the balance of that day.
My final conclusion is that Web Foots® BODY SOCKS are most desirable for anyone that recreates or works under cold or foul weather conditions.
I also tried out her Web Foots® BODY SOCKS while filming in Southeast Alaska this spring. I was wearing XtraTuf rubber boots which are noted for being cold. Sometimes one sits for hours in the wind and rain while waiting for a bear to show up. All this adds up to being cold and miserable. I tried wool socks as well as regular socks and my feet were usually cold. With wool socks my feet were warmer but as the day would progress my feet became colder and colder. On one particularly miserable day I decided to wear my Web Foots® SOCKS. I am happy to report that my feet stayed comfortable for several hours while sitting and watching for brown bears. Eventually, even with Web Foots® SOCKS my feet became cold, but I do suffer from poor circulation in my feet thanks to being a class II diabetic.
Also, in testing out the antimicrobial claim of the BODY SOCKS, I wore them many days before I washed them to see if they actually did resist body odor. I could never detect any odor at all which is a highly plus feature for the traveler to the bush."

I recently purchased a Web Foots® Body Sock to wear as an insulating layer under my nylon caving suit. While the temperatures in most caves are nowhere near the sub-zero temperatures found in Alaska and the Arctic, the threat of Hypothermia is still very real due to full body contact with the cave and constant wetness.
I wore Carol's suit first on a wet cave trip, which involved wading in water over waist deep. While the suit does not have the insulating capabilities of a neoprene wetsuit, I was in the water for less than a half hour, and found that once I got out of the water and the suit drained, that I warmed back up from the immersion quickly. This warm-when-wet quality is essential in caving where you're just as likely to be wet as dry.
On another more recent trip surveying some pits in the longest cave in the world, the Mammoth Cave System, I wore the suit and did not get cold the whole trip despite the pace of surveying and the drippy waterfalls in the pits. The passage was quite windy and other members of the survey crew got quite chilled. My Web Foots® suit helped conserve my heat and keep my attention focused on the survey.
I found that the stretch fabric allows for a high degree of movement and flexibility without binding and forms to the body which limits convective heat loss in windy passages. This is essential when climbing, crawling and doing vertical ropework (rappelling and climbing in and out of pits). The one-piece design mirrors the design of caving coveralls, with the benefit that your shirt never comes un-tucked from your long-johns leaving a chilly gap in your insulation.
I was pleasantly surprised that I did not overheat while hiking more than a mile between the cave entrance and the parking area even though the outside temperature was in the high 70's. I just zipped the suit down for more ventilation and let the fabric wick away the sweat.
Basically, I've found that this suit is really warm and is a great tool to have in a caver's arsenal. European cavers have been wearing one-piece undersuits for years, and though they have not been as popular here in the U.S., that might all change with quality, affordable garments like this one.

“I used your polarfleece long underwear on a high arctic Polar Bear hunt in early March and was really impressed. I wore them for ten consecutive days in temperatures ranging from –30 to –75 F. My outer clothing consisted of traditional Caribou skin mukluks with liners, Caribou skin pants and parka all of which had great insulative quality. When working actively in this clothing it was easy to overheat. The underwear kept me perfectly dry and clean. Any dampness in clothing can cause very serious problems in just a matter of minutes in this arctic environment. The underwear is also very comfortable to wear. I’ll recommend it to anybody who likes outdoor activities and will encourage all my clients to use your products!”

"I received the Web Foots® Body Sock and was finally able to field test it for the first time in some heavy duty action Lake Michigan salmon trolling last weekend. It performed spectacular in every respect, and well, the comfort was so shockingly good, it was reassuring, calming and relaxing to be that warm.
It added such a secure sense of well-being and warmth under even the most hostile lake conditions of rolling 5-6 ft. seas in 25 knot misty-rain blow that I paid no attention to the elements whatsoever, and it allowed me to thoroughly enjoy the experience.
And because we were too damn lazy/tired to start a fire or startup the furnace in the cottage, Carol, I wore the Body Sock for the whole 42 hours I was up in the wild Michigan Upper Peninsula. The foot stirrups fit in my waterproof K’Roo Russell field boots, thankfully, and the thumb-hole I just rolled up out of the way – no prob. Very comfy and dare I say, sort of sensationally successful outdoor wear.
Congratulations and thanks Carol, for your valuable product!"

"I thought I would show you, Carol, what I was doing last weekend. It was supposed to be the first ever Nebraska School of Soldiering for Civil War reenactors out by Kimball. But instead of the 85 degree weather we had on Thursday, we got freezing drizzle and heavy frost. Instead of 70 people showing up, around 20 showed up and most of them went home!
The two soldiers on the left have their Great Coats on and handled the weather well. But guess what? That’s me on the right and even though I don’t own one of those heavy Great Coats, I was pretty well taken care of, thanks to your high-tec longjohns. I even made use of the zippered back flap in an honest-to-goodness outhouse out in these hills and didn’t freeze by having to take the clothes off my upper body."

“Yes, it’s December and I’m still trying to track down a big old buck for tag number two. And though I’m not quite the spry cross country runner of my youth, I am still slight of build in comparison to many bowhunters it seems. And though that may sound advantageous, it can be a liability in dealing with cold weather.
To the rescue comes WEB FOOT BODY SOCKS. Produced by Carol Davis Sportswear® of Omaha, this new product takes the old union suit, or long john, into the 21st Century in both design and function. I field tested the article of clothing and think it fits the bowhunter's needs like no other similar item in the outdoors enthusiast’s wardrobe.
It is a one-piece ‘coverall’ type of undergarment. As we know, many advantages of the coverall design (one-piece construction conserves warmth, for example) are often negated by the disadvantages: hard to fit/bulky, binding in the upper body (making it hard to draw a bow without '‘hunching’ your shoulders up first, and also difficulties in---shall we say---going to the bathroom, aka #2).
Made of cold-weather fleece, the WEB FOOT BODY SOCK was designed with the hunter in mind and will make you reconsider your thinking. A soft, fleecy inside material is not only easy on the skin, but also high-tech in that it is hydrophobic (wicks water away from the skin). The outside of the material is sleek, smooth and quiet under layers of clothing. But best of all, it is extremely flexible, truly stretching in all directions (I’ve heard of this claim before, but this is the most ‘stretchy’ garment I’ve seen). Lifting your leg to reach that tree step placed back in warm September will not be difficult as this stuff really stretches. And drawing your bow will not require a contortionist’s effort either.
The suit is outfitted with a two-way front zipper and a zippered rear-flap for, as the designer states, “convenience in normal body functions.” In other words, bears aren’t the only ones that….well, let me just put it this way: that design feature works! And that shouldn’t be overlooked. Enough said.
Is the stuff warm? In a word, Yes! And though I had to walk a solid ¾ mile and then erect a stand on both of my initial experiences with the Body Sock, as well as trimming some shooting lanes, I did not become ‘clammy,’ despite breaking a sweat. I believe it truly does wick moisture.
So what’s to hold you back, you ask? At first glance, the price might. But for the price of a good quality camo outfit, you’ll have a one-piece, full-body undergarment that will take layering to a new level. With an extremely comfortable fit, like that of loose running tights, and warmth equal to the top polypro duds out there, you may not want to take these off once you put them on. If you hunt the late season, or do any waterfowling whatsoever, I believe it’ll be money well spent.
You’ll also reach for the Body Sock come snowmobile season or for those late fall football playoff games (wear it under jeans and nobody will suspect it).”

"Just returned from our Arctic adventure hunting Musk Ox and Polar Bear. Our base camp was located 200 miles south of the magnetic North Pole and 270 miles north of the nearest Inuit village. We arrived on the polar ice and were greeted by one of the largest Arctic storms this season. We spent our first five days in an 8 X 8 foot tent with temperatures down to 40 below and 35mph winds with even higher gusts. A very unforgiving environment! The tent was cold enough but the outside was brutal! It was important to be protected from exposure in both environments. One of the few comforts I had was wearing Carol's underwear and I had it on here. I wore your socks the whole time as well and they were most comfortable. Aside from hunting/guiding for Elk, Sheep, B & C Mules, and Whitetails, you can bet I'll log lots of hours snowmobiling in your products also!"

"I have worked for over 30 years in the eastern Arctic of Quebec as an outfitter and guide and have constantly had to put up with very cold and humid weather. Over the years, I have tried everything from cotton to wool, gore-tex and any other trendy item that has been suggested to keep warm. I am very happy to say that with your products, I have finally found the most adaptable, comfortable and warm undergarments on the market. I really put your underwear through its paces during this years hunting season and was very impressed with the results. In extremely cold weather and under heavy exertion, your body suit wicked away the perspiration, kept me dry, warm and comfortable. I have been looking for a versatile undergarment suit like this for years to refer to my clients. Keep up the good work and my hunters are far happier and warmer than they have ever been!"

"My wife and I used our new body socks for skiing recently and they worked great! We skied northern Vermont (right on the Canadian border) where temperatures ranged from +5F at the base of the mountain to -8F at the summit. Our Web Foots® Body Socks kept us warm throughout the day in spite of the cold temperatures and brisk northwest winds. I can wholeheartedly endorse your products as a cold-weather downhill skiing solution! Thanks."

"Just wanted to let you know how wonderful your Body Sock Style #3 performed for me. My husband and I own a home at Keaton Beach, Fla. We do a lot of fishing down there and of course the weather doesn't always cooperate. Anyway the last trip we made which was 2 weeks ago it was pretty cold and windy. I know I don't have to tell you how chilly it can get on the water especially when you are just trying to get to your favorite fishing spot. Well your Suit kept me Verrrrrry Warm and comfortable!!! I did not get overheated as the day warmed. The suit fit very well and did not bunch up as long johns do. I like it so well I am ordering one for my husband as soon as I finish this note to you. I also want to say that your service in getting my suit to me after ordering was phenomenal. I really did not expect to receive it as quickly as I did (3 Days). I can't wait to wear it next hunting season. I know I will find more reasons to use my Body Sock!! Thank you so much for your service and your product!!"

"Dear Carol: I was in Vermont in February and went on a snowmobile tour. When we were getting geared up, the guide more or less laughed at our thermal underwear and told us if we planned on a longer excursion next trip we should invest in a "Web Foots® Body Sock." You can not buy advertising like that, and this coming from a gentleman who makes his living doing 35+ mph on a snowmobile for 10 to 16 hours a day."

"A couple of friends and I went on a December duck hunting trip to a favorite lake on the Georgia/Florida border. Prior hunts had usually found us hunting in short sleeve cotton shirts due to normal daytime temperatures. A rain jacket or light jacket with waders were the only other clothes we normally needed. This trip, however, a severe cold front moved in and found us leaving camp with a 17 degree temperature. I had recently purchased one of your "body socks" and had thrown it in my gear bag just in case. This day was going to put it to the test!
I was standing waist deep in the lake wearing your "body sock" along with 3mm waders, a rain jacket, and boonie hat which had icicles hanging from the brim. I walked back to shore to check on my two companions and found them trying to build fires while behaving as if they were in the first stages of hypothermia. One of them looked up at me and said, "I can't believe you are actually sweating in this weather!!!" I think his words speak volumes as to the quality and performance of your products.
Needless to say, both my friends now have your "body socks" for the upcoming deer season. "

"I use a Carol Davis Body Sock underneath my drysuit while technical diving in Southern California. This picture was taken at noon on a hot July day. The topside temperatures may be scorching, but when you are a couple hundred feet down it's dark, and the water temperature can be 46 - 50 degrees. The ability of Carol's garment to wick moisture away from the skin and keep you dry is unparalleled. This is important, because in a sealed black neoprene suit, on a hot summer day, with 200 pounds of gear on, one tends to break a sweat before the dive. Once you hit that cold water though, you need to be as warm and dry as possible. The decompression time on my dives can often hit the three hour mark, and it is time spent mostly motionless where you can't generate much heat. If you are wet and cold, it can be miserable. I've worn other drysuit undergarments from the scuba industry costing hundreds more, but mostly all they do is add bulk. It's really nice to find a product that so fully lives up to it's claims. Thanks Carol!"

"Carol, Greetings! I have just returned from an Elk hunt in Cody, Wyoming. The temperatures were between 10 and Zero with a steady wind on top of the mountains. My guide was always walking his horse to stay warm, instead of riding it, and I was comfortable all day long since I was wearing your Body Sock Style # 3.
I am sending you a picture of my Elk and me, and as you can see, the Body Sock loops around my thumb and under my Jacket, which is all I was wearing under my Jacket and pants.
My Elk is the # 1 non-typical taken in Wyoming in 2003!
I felt sorry for my guide and gave him one of my Body Socks before I left and I think he appreciated it more than his trophy fee! Now, please send me another Web Foots® Body Sock to replace the one I gave to my Guide. Thank you for an awesome product!!"

"Carol , I am a U.S. Marine Reservist, as well as a bowhunter. I recently received my body suit, socks and neck warmer. I was out in the cold in South Bend, IN., in full dress blues. The temps hovered around freezing as we started our annual Toys for Tots collection. I decided to wear the suit and socks under my uniform and dress shoes. For six plus hours I stood and collected toys that the community donated. All the while, I was toasty warm, due to your suit (now my favorite). Were the suit or socks made of thicker materials, I could not have worn them. If they had not perfomed as you advertise, I'd have had some mighty cold toes. The hand warmers were better than expected and I only wore my white cotton gloves over my hands and the warmers. My fingers stayed warm too! I moved indoors and was in the same clothing. After two hours of in-and-outdoor travel, and up and down stairs, I was able to find time to change. Under my "Blues", I and the suit and socks were bone dry. Bravo! Job well done. How else can I say your stuff works,GREAT! I cannot wait to get myself into a tree stand. Armed with Webfoots.... I'm going to be out there all day!"

"Greetings Carol:
My 13 year old son, James, and I were deer hunting with our good friend, Mark Galla, who is a big game hunting guide here in Wrangell, Alaska. He met you at a show and purchased your product. Mark is one of your best marketing tools. We were very impressed with the body socks so I ordered a pair for my son for Christmas. My son, although only 13, is out in the bush all the time. He drives me crazy wanting to go hunting. You'd think I didn't have to work. James runs a trapline in the winter and your body sock underwear will give me a higher level of confidence for his safety as the weather is quite inhospitable around here in the winter. Quite an impressive product Carol--I appreciate people who take no shortcuts when it comes to quality."

Carol, I purchased a Body Sock from you and fell in love with the cold.
I noticed in your testimonials that the majority of the locations that had great things to say about the Body Sock were in the northern sections of the great USA. Please do not forget about the deep south where the humidity is high on cold days and the temp is low, (20's). This mixture produces very damp and cold mornings. I must tell you I finally found the mix of clothes that any southern hunter, (below the mason dixie line), would love to own. The Body Sock is the secret. I now can hunt with just the body sock and my wool hunting suit, (Weatherby Performance Wool Outfit), I do not get cold on the mornings that normally would send me back to the camp early. I have used the body sock in fifteen degree weather and in 50 degree weather and it breathes perfectly with the change in temp. All southern hunters need to be aware of this super product, and especially the youth who get very cold when learning about mother nature, and the ethical ways of hunting.
Thank you for your warm products!

Carol, Just a note regarding the "performance" of your thermal underwear. My first impression was that the body sock would be "too hot". In fact, it is not too hot and keeps one as warm as other long underwear. To get as warm as I needed for extreme use I wear merino wool over it, that works very well for extraordinary cold, sprawled on the ground.
I was suspicious of the "wicking" - I had other products that did that a little, but I sweat profusely and I had never had it work all that well before. Well, there I was on one cold day last November (well below freezing) pushing bush on a moose hunt. The sweat was pouring off me. I was wearing an oiled canvas hat, and at the end of the afternoon the inside was dripping wet - but I felt absolutely comfortable in the body stocking, didn't have even a hint of chilling when I stopped fighting the brush and stood still!
Others who have used the body sock for skiing, both down hill and cross country, share my impression: as warm as many other solutions, but a moisture wicking facility that really works. For any work or play in cold weather where there is lots of strenuous activity mixed with sitting or standing around, it is essential. An archer I know packs stuff into a location to set up a tree stand, again under conditions well below freezing. He has a problem because he sweats so much carrying stuff in, and then has to sit still for hours - so he changes clothing at the stand. Your underwear would solve his problem.

Hi Carol, I am originally from Minnesota and know cold weather all too well. I moved to Florida and gave away all my "bundle up thermal gear" which to say the least was never very attractive anyway. Good riddens or so I thought.
Then I was relocated again to Upstate New York, weather not quit as cold as Minneapolis, but cold never the less. The 1st winter season I denied I was here and froze to death cursing the day I ever left Florida.
But this year I got smart and did an extensive search online using my hometown roots of what Ice fisherman wear to keep themselves toasty as my benchmark for warm wear. And all the hunting and winter sports articles, magazines, and testimonials pointed to Carol Davis, Carol Davis, Carol Davis! None of the sources were necessarily linked together or affiliated.
Low and behold I bought a suit and LOVE IT! I got it about a month ago and I haven't taken it off since (almost literally). My boyfriend keeps asking me "Aren't you cold? I'm cold. You've got to be cold!" And all I say is, "Nope! Like my suit? And can you turn down the heat …I'm hot and you're wasting money!" HA!
I've told everyone about your thermals. My friends in Minneapolis, my mom in South Dakota, my grandparents on Lake Vermilion. Thanks Carol Davis. I can smile in the winter again until I can make it back to Florida for good.

"Carol: I use my thermal underwear to train dogs in the winter months and to go on photo shoots...with the dogs. My husband is an avid hunter...ducks, upland, deer and he is also a fisher man. He uses them early season fly fishing and of course...ice fishing.
Last January, I broke my kneecap. Dick was out ice fishing and out of cell phone range. I managed to load the dogs back up and get them home. While I was hobbling around, I realized that I had my Carol Davis Style 3 underwear on and if I went into the ER with it still on, it would be cut off. I was not about to let that happen...so, I was able to get it off before I drove myself to the ER. Thank God it had as much give and stretch....I was able to get myself out of it!
Six weeks later...pretty much good as before. Your product is well made, does what you claim, I recommend it to folks all the time. "

"Carol: In the list of testimonials, there are hunters, divers, snowmobile riders, skiers, explorers, and cavers. I would like to add motorcyclist and horsemen to the list.
While at a major horse show, I saw the body socks being shown by Carol Davis. As a then 58 year old woman, I had just purchased my first motorcycle, actually a Suzuki 400cc scooter. Since my "toy" was new, I couldn't wait to ride it as much as possible, even in an Indiana winter. So I ordered a body sock. It is WONDERFUL!
I also happen to be a motor-mouth, so I told all my horsey friends about the comfort of this suit. Traditional long johns are often restrictive and require more layers of clothing, making it more difficult to handle bales of hay, bags of feed, water buckets, and saddles. Mounting up and riding are also much less comfortable. Several of my friends ordered body socks. One woman wore hers outdoors with no outer clothing and had her husband take a photo. They decided that she looked like a seal, thus forever dubbing them as "seal suits" among our group of horsemen/women.
Others have spoken about the technical aspects of the body sock and talked of their exciting adventures all over the world, but I will simply say, the body socks are wonderfully warm and comfortable. Keep up the good work. I will continue to be one of your best advertisers."

"Carol: I would like to thank you for the many years of your Bodysox suits keeping me warm and dry out in the cold weather. Years ago I bought five of your suits and have been using them to keep warm working outside. I recently retired from my job of 30 years working for the Dept. Of Public Works. In all that time I have to say that your bodysox worked really great out in the cold and snowy weather we get here in the north. I have never found more comfortable thermal underwear in my entire life. There was never any time I was cold. All I had to do was put on one of your suits and then one of my jumpsuits zipped up over that, and I was ready to go in the cold! I never needed to wear a whole bunch of layers and believe it or not I seem to have caught less colds during the winter season from staying so warm and dry in your bodysox. My doctor was even impressed when she saw what I was wearing, so much so that she asked me where she could get some for her son and husband who work outside. Her son is also on the rowing team in college and needs to keep warm on their early morning workouts. She liked the feel and style of your suits and the easy two-way front zipper. It makes it much easier for a doctor examination without taking every bit of clothing off.
Even though I am in the house most of the time now, I still wear your bodysox suit under my jumpsuit when I go on my motorcycle for a brisk cold ride in the winter, and I have worn them to bed when we get these bitter cold northwest winds that howl at night and the temperature drops to the low 20's. They have been a really great garment to sleep in and stay warm. So in closing, I can't thank you enough for such really great thermal underwear. I will recommend your bodysocks to all my friends who have to work out in bitter cold weather."

"Review: The Web Foots® Body Sock (I tested out Style 2) is a one-piece, high-performance thermal undergarment. It's the most impressive "long underwear" I've ever used. It is constructed from state-of-the-art, cold-weather fleece textile that is soft and fleecy on the inside, smooth on the outside and stretches in all directions comfortably. The outer surface is smooth so that other clothing can be layered over it without bunching or binding. It is hydrophobic so it wicks moisture from the skin while repelling surface moisture. It is also antimicrobial, which means it resists normal skin bacteria so you will not have body odor when wearing the suit and it will not absorb odors as will other organic fabrics.
I wore this suit at least 100 times throughout the fall/winter of 2002/2003, hunting deer and waterfowl mostly. Some of that time was in some pretty cold, extreme weather conditions. I was extremely impressed with the Body Sock. I've always been a fan of the "Union Suit" style of thermal underwear as opposed to a top and a bottom, as it's just more comfortable for me. The Body Sock was so comfortable on my body that most of my other thermal underwear was completely neglected this winter. It's very, very soft on the inside and couldn't be any more comfortable against your skin. I found that it stretches very comfortably and does not bind or restrict movement at all. Being as stretchy as it is, I was skeptical about how tough it would be, but I can say I have no more doubts about that, and that it is the toughest thermal underwear I've ever had, from cotton to polypropylene and other blends, etc.
It was very warm but was also very good at wicking moisture away from the skin when I worked up a sweat.
I was a little skeptical about the "antimicrobial" nature of the fabric really helping to stave off body odor, but it really does act that way. I'm not saying you shouldn't wash it every now and then, but I'd say it picks up less than a tenth of the scent that normal cotton thermal underwear does. And for hunters who spend days in the woods without taking a shower, that's a very valuable quality for thermal underwear to have.
A few more great features of the Body Sock are that it's machine washable, and it dries FAST. Just hanging it to dry inside the house (not even in the sun), it generally took only an hour or so for it to be completely dry.
The designers of the Body Sock also had practical "function" in mind when making it, and that is something that unfortunately is lacking among many products for hunters these days. The Body Sock has stirrup feet and thumbholes for easy dressing and layering without your clothes bunching or riding up on you. It also has a zippered rear flap and 2-way front zippers for ease of making a "call of nature" when you're in the woods, so that you can stay warm while doing so.
Overall, I'd have to say this is one of the best products for hunters that we reviewed this fall, and we recommend it highly."

"Hi Carol: Now that I’ve had a chance to really give your products a try, I have to say that the WebFoots is totally awesome! I have been out Ice fishing lately and it is so great not having to wear so many layers and feeling like a stuffed snowman. It cuts the wind and keeps me comfortable.
The moisture wicking ability of your product is unbelievable.!! I am dry after about 15 minutes and that is after a 30 minute hike at 20 degrees.
I will have to buy another, just so I have a spare.

"Carol: My husband and I are avid hunters and enjoy the outdoors. There was a small insert in our local newspaper called "Tri-State Outdoor Adventures." In it was an article called "Cold to the Bone" by guest columnist Bob Hendricks. He mentioned the importance of being warm while hunting and mentioned your body sock and web socks. So, I got on the internet and researched the product and read the testimonials. I am a letter carrier for the Postal Service and walk approximately 7 miles daily in all types of weather. I thought I would give your body sock a try as I have tried several other types of insulated underwear. Today I wore it for the first time and loved it. I have finally found the right base layer, I was warm all day and it is so comfortable. I ordered my body sock and web socks on Monday and had them on Wednesday. GREAT service! Thank you."

"Hi Carol:
My husband Greg is an avid hunter and originally purchased one of your body socks in 2003. He read an article by Kathy Etling about how your products kept her warm. He looked into the body sock and purchased one. It is wonderful during cold weather hunts in Northeast Ohio and he also wears it to work on occasion. We also purchased one for our daugher who snowboards at Peek n Peek in New York. Greg just returned from Manitoba and wore the body sock during a deer hunt. You can imagine his surprise when two other hunters in camp from Wisconsin had their body sock's with them also! Greg gave his body sock to his guide therefore he had to order another pair for himself. He especially likes the way it wicks the body moisture away from the skin. It really worked after a 3-4 mile hike where he said he was sweating really hard, but the body sock kept him warm. All the guys highly recommended it to other hunters at camp. Wonderful products and will recommend it to anyone who wants to keep warm in cold weather. Pleasure doing business with you, Carol.”

"Hi Carol: I test products for a Swedish company, Tierra, making Gore Tex clothes, fleece etc. They gave me 5m of Powerstretch to sew my own, but I couldn´t find a sewing pattern. I searched the Internet for 'full body underwear' or 'full body suit' and found your products. I live in the very north of Sweden, 250km north of the polar circle. I climb a lot and when ice climbing it´s very nice to have a one piece suit I´m going on a fairly difficult climb in Nepal in October. This is why I asked about the weight of your products. With too heavy gear, we just can´t climb.
Now, I just returned from Nepal. We couldn´t climb the north ridge but at least we climbed the normal route, still quite steep but with fixed ropes all the way, so not proper climbing that we were looking for. The thermals worked very well. We both altered them, making them smallar in the sides of the torso. We looked a bit dorky low on the mountain when only wearing the thermals but the function was great, and slightly wind resistent it worked well when not wearing ANYTHING over it. The zipper in the back could be an inch longer, and the round neck, for me could be slightly tighter. Again, if you expand your business, maybe make a model with polo neck. Thanks for your help and good luck with your business!”

"Hi Carol:
I wanted to send you some feedback on my thermal purchase. I bought your suit since I heard it was "the warmest on the market." I get cold easy and have always layered more clothes than I cared to wear. I wore your suit this season for 17 straight days, and then on many day hunts, here and there. We had temps anywhere from 35 to 2 degrees with high winds almost every hunt, usually 10-20 mph. I got chilled once! Not cold, just chilled from a wind gust down my front. Your suit plus a scent-lok outer shirt and my jacket is all I wore on most hunts. It is wonderful!! Thanks so much for the suit!!"

"Hi Carol:
During last summer I puchased one of your body socks. I used the product heavily this fall and came to depend on it. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I've tried a bunch of other stuff in the past and as far as I am concerned nothing else compares...for the first time I was able to stay in a tree from before first light to dark and had no trouble staying warm. When I bought it you told me that I would “ love it!”, you were right. Thanks again.”

“Carol: We climbed Mt Whitney at the end of a 125 mile wilderness hike and had severe weather changes; from hot to ice on the tents and ground – the photo says it all! Cold?? Unexpected frosts, freezing in the night? Sweltering in the day! We had it all and were saved by our wonderful Web Foot Body Socks; in fact I slept in mine every night during the cold spells and on the coldest night, I wore my husband’s as well, and Bob and I began our trip up Mt. Whitney with it under our clothes (thank you god!) . THEY ARE LIFE SAVERS! Never leave home on a backpacking expedition without yours. They make great pillows, snug evening wear, are “user friendly” for mother nature duties ,and just plain feel great! Thanks to my hiking partner, Bob, for finding your thermal products. Now all five of us in our group have them!”

"I just wanted to share with you that I am a HERO in my house! In both houses! We are absolutely delighted with both styles of the body socks I ordered. The #4 in-house style is marvelous and as suspected style #2's stirrup and thumb anchors won the day. We couldn't be happier with the quality, price and integrity of your product's promise. Many thanks."

"Hi Carol,
The way I heard about your body socks was from one of your customers. About a year and a half ago I won an auction on ebay for a Damart body sock, I like the one piece thermals with the dual zipper front (which Damart no longer markets to the US). After the auction I had an email from the guy that was runner up. He congratulated me for the win and then told me about your garments and that I should try them. Well I finally did. I received the thermals last week and wore them the very next day which believe it or not was the coldest day of this season to date. I'm an auto tech and I also do snow plowing. The temp at 4:30am was -5 with a wind chill factor of -25. I started the trucks and only my hands and face were cold, the cold and wind did not penetrate the body sock, I was very comfortable all day in and out of the truck. I worked around our shop and left the heat inside the work area at 45 degrees. Thanks much Carol!"

"Dear Carol, Just a quick note to tell you that I received my order on Tuesday. I am very impressed with the workmanship, design, material, and just the overall quality. Can't wait to wear them up in Alaska in the high mountains in mid-May. It is a typical experience of mine, that I order something online and am disappointed with the actual item when I have it in my hands. If anything, your website underplays the craftsmanship and plush feel of the bodysuit. I was surprised--in a very good way. I want to thank you! I wish you every success, and will let my climbing, kayaking and caving friends know about you."

"Ms. Davis,
I just wanted to let you know that I ordered your Polartec long underwear from you in February in anticipation of a weeklong Wyoming pack horse trip in the Big Horn Mountains that I just recently completed. Needless to say, the trip was outstanding (I am going again next year) but the reason for the e-mail is to tell you how wonderful the long underwear functioned. You don't even realize that you have it on. It is a great product and I have talked to a number of horse people who are looking for the right long underwear to extend their riding season. I don't know what you can do with that information, but they seem enthused and I have shared your web site address with anyone who asks for it. Again, thanks for a great product."

"Hi Carol: I received my new body sock yesterday and wore it all day long. I do a lot of adventure motorcycling and being warm is critical. I could not believe how well your product performed for me.
You really should advertise this to the motorcycling community as a MUCH less expensive and better performing alternative to heated under garments. Gerbing offers some great heated garments but they are very expensive ($300.00+ for everything needed) and they are bulky and restraining. PLUS it takes time to put the garments on connect them and when you do not have them plugged in they don't offer much if any insulation!
I was most impressed with the way your product stretches with the body in a very natural fashion under clothing and is surprisingly warm for its weight without being too thick.
Can't say enough good things about it...but you really should advertise...BMW/ON (BMW Owners magazine) is a magazine where you would get a LOT of good press and these are the people that ride in cold weather — perfect target audience.
I plan to order another suit next month....and am going to tell everyone in my BMW motorcycle club here in Dallas at our next meeting.
Thanks...and I hope your company continues to prosper!"

"Wanted to say thanks for posting the thermal information on the ArcheryTalk.com website earlier this month about your satisfaction with the Carol Davis long underwear. I looked her up on the net and ordered the complete set. Tried them on last night and I was thrilled! The fit was perfect and very well made. I am going to like them a lot come late muzzleloader and archery season. I can guarantee I'll be able to shed a layer and still keep warm in the body sock. I suspect it is the best money I've spent on clothing in some time and I'm a pretty tuff critic when it comes to hunting gear. Thanks again."

"Hi Carol,
I bought a pair of your wonderful thermals from you several years ago when you had a booth at the deer and turkey classic in Peoria, IL. The suit and neckwarmer have served me well in all my hunting adventures. Nothing I have ever tried compares to your thermal products and now I'm getting another set for my son. I am sure he will enjoy wearing them as much as I have."

"Hi Carol, I am active on some hunting forums and recently a thread was started on "Best Winter Gear." One of the members said he wears your body socks and provided a link to your website. I read all the testimonials from some of my favorite hunting heroes and sheroes and decided I had to give them a try. I love finding good quality stuff and sharing the information with others.
I spend many hours in the field and my quest for stuff never ends, much to my husband's dismay. Speaking of my husband, I am getting him some thermal underwear too because as we get older the cold is bothering us more. I think he will really like your product.
Thanks for the personal service. It means a lot."

"Carol, My son is a professional outfitter and is out in the cold alot. He was cougar hunting in January 2009, fell 60 ft and hit a cliff, broke his pelvis, and had to be dragged out several miles. They finally got to a mine that had an ambulance to transport him to the nearest hospital and was life-flighted out to Swedish Medical Center in Denver. He had surgery (steel plate) for his shattered hip, was out of work for several months, but is now back to being a miner and professional outfitter again. I say all this because Cliff was wearing your thermal Style 3 body suit when the accident happened. It was 20 degrees below 0, he was in the cold weather for hours! I feel that those thermals saved his life! But the only thing that made him really mad was that they had to cut them off of him! I was so excited to see him up, moving around and recovering so well that when he told me he was going hunting again (he lives in Craig, Colorado known for very cold weather) I decided I needed to purchase him another pair. I also bought him some socks, since he is now prone to frostbite and I'm hoping this will help. I purchased thermals for my daughter and son-in-law some as well. If they want to be in the cold, I want them to have the very best!
Thank you for getting the orders out quickly. With a family of 10 kids and 14 grandkids it will take me awhile to purchase something for every one but its on my list to get done."

"Carol:
I bought one of your great suits at Will Rogers Auditorium in Ft. Worth, Texas about eight years ago. I have used the suit for hunting, fishing, construction work and warehouse operations. I have read testimonials from your more famous clients. While my name will not impress the public you can add me to the list of satisfied, warm, clients. Year after year this suit has kept me warm, and dry no matter what I`m doing. The best value over time ever. What is the price of comfort when others around you are shivering in the cold? I could have sold the suit many times at a profit. Hard to believe it`s still in one piece and working like new. Thanks"

"Carol: My husband is a Boilermaker and welds at power plants around the Midwest . Last February he came home, extremely concerned about a man that was new on the job. They were all working outside in blizzard like conditions, and all the man was wearing were canvas type jeans, a heavy denim shirt, and some gloves. My husband had on layers of thermals, sweats, jeans & insulated coveralls. Next night — same situation. Hubby didn't know if the man forgot to bring his winter work wear, if he was new to the trade and couldn't afford warm clothing, or what. Day 3 Hubby approached him and he had been wearing a Carol Davis product all along. I see such value in a product like this. My husband works really hard to support our family while I stay at home with the kids. He's only 30. I want to be encouraging & show my love. I hope when he opens this Christmas gift he'll be completely thrilled. Thank you for a great product."

"Hi Carol:
We heard about you through work in the construction business here in Alberta, Canada. We have lots of very cold days out here (-35C and on top of that the wind factor). One of the guys working in the same town as my son came for a chat at the house that Jonathan, my son, was building, and he was dressed in only a hoody and jeans. Jonathan says to him, "What, are you the cool dude today or what??" It was then that he learned about your product that was underneath the hoody and jeans! You don't have any suppliers here in Canada by any chance do you?? We're sold."

"Hello Carol,
I've had a Body Sock Style 3 for quite a few years and love it. It's gotten lots of use, been through many washings, and is still in great shape!
I've also had your neckwarmer for a few years. The only problem is that the neckwarmer works so well, everyone else in the family wants to use it as well. So I thought it time for everyone to get their own and stop borrowing mine.
I'm an amateur astronomer living on the southern edge of Kansas City. We usually don't get a lot of snow (except for this year where we now have 14 inches on the ground!), but the temperature does get down in the single digits many winter evenings. While observing in this cold all night long and standing on frozen ground, I stay nice and toasty in my body sock and other layered clothing. The winter time is best for observing. The humidity is low creating calm and steady air. Sunset is early and sunrise is late making for a very productive long night.
Thanks for making a quality product. It makes a big difference when out there standing around in the cold.

Hi Carol,
Thank you for the update. I hunted with Kyle and LeVonne Bell in NM (Folsom Outfitters) back in Jan for a Bison Hunt. It was amazingly cold....well...cold for me...I'm from Southern California. Kyle was stomping around in one of your body socks and wearing a tee shirt over it. I'm bundled up like an Eskimo and my guide is wearing a tee shirt! I asked him how the hell he could stay so warm and he showed me the body sock under his shirt. He also had a couple of your brochures in the lodge so I grabbed one when I packed up to head back home. Yesterday a friend of mine who owns some property in MN invited me for a deer hunt this Sept. Now, I'm going back to NM to hunt again with Kyle in Jan....(This time I'll be "observing"...my 9 year old daughter is going to be the shooter on another Bison)...I had figured I would buy one of your thermals before that trip for both me and my daughter Chaney. With this opportunity to go to MN in Sept, I figured I'd go ahead and pop for mine now and get Chaney's at the beginning of Dec....I'm sure she won't really go through a growth spurt between then and now...but with kids you never know, and I would hate to buy her one now and find out it is too small once Jan rolls around.
Anyhow...this order came as a direct result of your guerilla marketing campaign: Having a hunting guide rave about your product to his client!
Looking forward to getting it in the mail! Thanks again Carol!"

Hello Carol,
I found about your about your products a long time ago through Walleye Central website. I have had a Style 3 suit for over 10 years and can't say enough about how great it is! I have gained a few pounds but the stretch still fits. I am currently gearing up for a hunt in the UP of Michigan and I am sure to be warm. Thank you so much for a great American product.

Hi Carol,
I recently heard about your products from a co-worker of mine. I am planning on using them mostly for hunting and was told you have the best products. At first I was a little hesitant, but when I heard multiple people have been using your products for years, and they all love them, I had to give them a shot. I am going out next month and because of your thermals I hope to stay out all day.
Thank you for making great products and good luck in the future with all your business ventures.

Carol, We are very happy with your products. About 5 yrs ago our group of snowmobilers was at a snow show in Michigan and that is where we saw your products for the first time. Seemed like a lot of money for long johns back then and we were all reluctant to purchase the first suit. Friends of ours are very cold blooded but love to snowmobile, so they purchased the first ones and really loved everything about them. Everything you say about the suits in your advertisements is very true and I have used mine every winter along with my daughter and wife.
Everyone who has purchased from you has been very impressed with you and how you managed your Company. I agree! You make things happen with no BS and we all appreciate that! Thanks.

"Carol: I am a professional dog musher from Alaska. I spend 90% of my life outside in all kinds of elements so the clothes I wear to keep warm are very important to my comfort and success. This season I wore one of your body socks EVERYDAY for 5 months. I ran both the Yukon Quest and Iditarod in them and have never been as comfortable or warm as I was this season. It totally changed the way I dress. I stay warm and DRY! Being a musher I spend hours on the back of the sled at temperatures that dip below -50F and can be as warm as 40F. Your thermal suit worked very well in all of these conditions. It has an amazing wicking ability and dries so fast which is very important to me. Mushing is very demanding at times and will cause me to sweat. It is extremely important to be able to dry out fast and the body sock has worked better for me then anything else I have ever worn. I also used the neck warmer and skull cap and they have all the same qualities that the body sock does. Thanks for making a superior product. I look forward to wearing your gear for many more Yukon Quests and Iditarods!"
